Many of us have wondered where str0ke has been and why milw0rm has not been updated in a good while. I recently was informed that str0ke has been hospitalized due to a strange condition with his heart, which he has had since he was a child.
Sadly....
I've just received information that str0ke @ milw0rm has passed away due to cardiac arrest early this morning at 9:23 AM. We @ blacksecurity are deeply saddened by the loss of a good hearted friend.
We wish nothing but blessing to his wife and 4 children.

str0ke was a good man, a great father and an all out great person. The few times that I've had the pleasure of talking with str0ke via email, or telephone, he was nothing short of warm and friendly. I know that I speak for all of us when I say that we're really going to miss him. Rest in peace str0ke, we'll never forget you.

This is a truly sad day indeed. As a good friend from the DFW metroplex I will miss this kind soul deeply. Str0ke brought us something that many sites had failed to do since the early 90's when the hacking field was a completely different battle ground. Back then, it was all about freedom of information amongst hackers and not trying to profit off an exploit for corporate means. He'd tell us at local 2600's that he was trying to preserve this spirit of the early days in milw0rm to defy the securityfocuss'/sucunias/tippingpoints out there that fueled the a money hungry industry eager to make money of hackers. A special prayer will be said at his funeral, if anyone would like to help contribute the prayers that will be read please contact us. It's such a shame - He was a great person and a great father. RIP my brother you will truly be missed.
